Ian's cast comes off this afternoon! That is, assuming the x-ray shows that his leg has healed.
Rest easy that I will be at the ready with my cell phone to capture the look of his scaly, gnarly, stinky, atrophied leg...and rest even more assured that I will most definitely post a picture of it here!
Oh, I forgot to update you that I figured out and remedied the problem with our ceiling fan. I'm not as incompetent as I thought I was!

Glad you figured out the fan/light combo thing...I seem to have the same curse when it comes to home improvement. I can't touch anything without breaking something else, but I generally blame it on the builder of the house for doing this bass-ackwards. ;)
I happened upon your blog because my son broke his leg and I was searching "toddler leg break". Could you please post how he did after the cast came off? My son gets his off in 3 days and i worry. I am a runner as well and hope he will be able to run a lot, too!
